OpenVoter began in 2008 with the goal of becoming a featured content management system (CMS) for running a Social Media or Social News site. Since it's initial release in September 2008, OpenVoter was updated to version 1.1 and now has been completely re-written for version 2.0. OpenVoter endeavors to become even better in the future with many new features already being brainstormed to make it even better.
